NOTICE

Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 349.16, the Town of Union seasonal weight restrictions will become effective Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 7:00 am until further notice.  Adjustment to the proposed effective date may be considered contingent upon weather conditions.

This is a critical period of time for the township roads in order to avoid costly damage and we request support and cooperation for this temporary load limit. Penalties may be imposed under § 348.21, Penalty for violating weight limitations.

Banned Town of Union Roads are:

  • Crescent Ave
  • Elk Creek Rd
  • County Line Rd ( between Town Hall Rd. & Kane Rd.)
  • Buena Vista Rd South ( South of CTH C)
  • Xiong Blvd
  • Bluebird Lane

    Tax Collection will be at the Union Town Hall 1506 Town Hall Rd., Eau Claire, WI 54703:

    NOTICE: The town will no longer be accepting two party checks written from your mortgage lender. Please deposit these checks into your checking account and write a check to the town for the correct tax payment.
